	Feds panic over nuclear power Predicted by: Tim Date predicted: 29 November 1998 Supposed to happen by: July 1999 Event: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will report that some of nation's nuclear power plants may not be adequately prepared for the millenium change. The NRC will then request massive emergency funding from the federal government to hire technical professions to help remedy the problem. In response to that and if it hasn't already done so, the federal goverment will implement a military-style draft of technical professionals to work on the problem.
